This is Joe. He lives in a cluster of eight huts with his entire extended family. He spends 6 days a week in school, and when he’s not learning, he’s helping his family with the daily chores: milking the livestock, cutting firewood, hunting for food and bringing in the farm animals at night. Before he had a Luci, this left him little to read outside the classroom – it had to end when the sun went down.
