Walifani Cave, Papua New Guinea | 2016

In partnership with Irish Cave Explorers + Axel Hack

The entrance to Walifani Cave is an important spiritual site for the Kosua people, adorned with ancient, mysterious rock art associated with the legend of the creation of the tribe itself. The explorers mapped out 8 km of unexplored passages in 30 undocumented caves during their first visit – that leaves 4992 sq km left to go!
